What’s happening at MHAoPC…
If you missed our “Don’t Give Up Hope” benefit concert earlier in March, fear not: You can catch it on YouTube! And if you want to see how our “Don’t Dodge the Issues” dodgeball event and mental health fair went, check out the social media posts here and here.
Then join us Monday, March 31st for our “Candid Conversation: Movement and Mental Health” event, 6 p.m. at the Putnam County Public Library. Our panelists local yoga instructor Marla Helton, Purdue Extension Nutrition Education Program Advisor Krystle Pipes, and medical professional and avid marathoner Lisa Miller will be sharing their expertise and experience concerning the importance of movement as part of mental health. >>> FREE FOOD! <<< Sign up online before 3/27 and you can enjoy a free box dinner at the event!!
Not quite an event, but a Call For Nominations for Person Of The Year is now out. Nominate your favorite person who makes a difference in the mental health of you and/or others in our community! April 25th is our soft deadline, to get us enough time to review all nominations and coordinate the award at our Annual Meeting, a Monday in May (yet to be finalized). Contact us for details!
Our local offering of our Helping Children/Co-Parenting classes occurs every month on the third Tuesday. Note that there are no regularly scheduled classes in December. If you require one during that time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
You can find out more about these events and more here. Please be aware that some of these are place-markers for regularly scheduled events.
